Wat Chalong

Phuket’s largest and most revered temple,Wat Chalong is a complex of richly adorned Thai temple buildings including a magnificent 60m chedi, which purportedly houses a splinter of the Buddha’s bone alongside superb wall paintings features scenes central to the Buddhist faith and the life of the Buddha.

It will take approximately 60-minutes to drive to Wat Chalong which is located in the small sub-district of Chalong and the price of a taxi is THB 1,500 per way. A Private taxi can also be booked for a minimum charge of THB 3,000 for three hours, which is adequate time to visit Wat Chalong.
