Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort today announces plans to reopen their main resort restaurant, the Pool House, on August 16, 2021 after major renovation work and with a completely new dining concept and experience.
Closed for renovation since April 05, 2020, the fully renovated all-day dining restaurant will seat 102 guests indoors and up to 98 guests in a covered poolside dining area available for private hire, birthday’s celebrations, group lunches and dinners as well as a semi-private dining room.
At the helm of the interior design renovation is Atelier Donatien Carratier, an award-winning international interior design agency. The design concept is inspired by an early 20th Century sailing experience in the Andaman Sea and explores the rich heritage and exquisite cuisine of Phuket. With a set of three central-island open kitchens inspired by the exhaust of a big Yacht and a pizza oven, the use of Blue and Teak wood cladding throughout resembles the hull of a yacht and creates the ambiance of a sea-side beach yacht club, a destination dining restaurant serving global cuisine for a well-traveled crowd. The fixtures and furnishing are inspired by traditional 1920’s furniture with a contemporary feel.
The Pool House will serve a selection of International dishes and local flavors from land and sea, with an elaborate breakfast with excellent coffee, pass-around small plates and interactive live cooking stations. Guests can enjoy flavorsome comfort food and light snacks showcasing premium cuts of meat, fresh seafood and farm-to-fork local ingredients alongside authentic local recipes and refreshing healthy beverages, for an all-day dining experience to suit all preferences.
Hyatt Regency Phuket Resort is scheduled to welcome back guests 16 August, 2021 post an extensive renovation of all the resort rooms and suites, public areas, restaurant and bars and facilities and provide an elevated experience during their stay in Phuket.
